Heavy gauge silver teapot, handmade with every attention to detail.
It has a cast spout, which has a hand pierced internal grill at the end.
The hinge is flush with the lid, which is a work of art by itself !
This particular maker was apprenticed to the prestigious Pagett and Braham in the 1950s and then
went on to make handmade bespoke silver from the 1960s.
Mr Pettitt made silver for Linden and Co of the London Silver Vaults for over forty years until he retired in 2005.
