Heavy gauge of silver, weighing 17.7 troy ounces of sterling silver.
Made in the George 1V style with typical engine turning, striated sides and fine embossing
on bottom and top edges.
D & J Welby were top London silversmiths, who were still making by hand at the beginning of the
20th century, and predominantly with Georgian styles.
